Cheap prices (for Maui) great location and even sweeter staff. The staff was definitely my favorite part. I loved talking to them and asking them for suggestions. Always helped out. The rooms are a little dated and do not have ac. So if you're sensitive to heat. Maybe don't choose these. I loved it though. I prefer a natural breeze and the balconies were always a great start to my day thanks guys!
Honestly when I read the reviews I was a little unsure, but I am SO glad we still booked it anyway. The view is amazing, the staff is awesome & the room has AC! Its definitely worth it for the price! The bed was super comfy too. This place was so worth every penny! I would definitely book it again. Plus the balcony is in the shade compared to the main hotel that you check in to.
The entire property is beautiful and the beaches are the best in Maui that I experienced! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, although we never spent much time in the room anyway! The room also overlooked the nightly luau, so we heard that every night until 8pm. It wasn't bad at all and became a fun evening ritual! The beds were so comfortable and we never needed to run the air conditioning. There's also a free trolley around the resort and plenty of dining within walking distance. Highly recommend for a resort experience without the high resort fees.
Stayed here in March, 2010 with my daughter. LOVED our stay. If you are used to the Ritz. You may be disappointed in the rooms. BUT... I was there to see the island. Definitely not sit in my room. Although. Sometimes it was hard to leave in the AM. After watching the morning whale and dolphin show from the balcony over coffee. The staff and the location itself made up for that. And I see they've renovated since then. We were out by 7 every morning. And back most nights just in time to watch the Luau next door from our balcony, take a shower. And get a great night's sleep with the patio door left open. Just to do it all over again. Hoping to make it back again soon. Support the people of Lahaina. Would definitely stay again.
